Great care is taken in the production of this wine, the fruit is hand picked and transported to the winery in bins - the fruit is given 12 hours skin contact and then fermented cold for 3 weeks - then left on light lees for up to 6 months.
The central valley is one of the most important wine producing regions in South America. A wide range of grape varieties and wine styles can be grown here, in region stretching from Maipo in the north to Maule around 250 miles to the South. Curico is shielded from the ocean influence by a coastal range of hills, an ideal climate for fresh Sauvignon Blancs.
