DescriptionErrazuriz have been crafting premium quality wines from Chile since 1870. The grapes for our Max Reserva Carmenere 2010 come from the Max II, Max V, and Ocoa blocks of our vineyards in the Valle de Aconcagua, a region with a long, dry growing season and moderately warm summer days cooled by gentle afternoon breezes that blow in from Pacific Ocean. The vertically positioned, drip-irrigated vines are planted on well-drained sandy-loam soils. As a late-ripening variety, Carmenere requires effective canopy management to ensure good ripening, so selective leaf pulling is carried out 5 to 6 weeks prior to harvest.
Errazuriz Max Reserva Carmenere 2014 is rated out of 5 by 1.
