Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 36 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cheap but good Chose this because it is one of the cheapest Epson all in one with wireless connection for my desktop PC, laptop and Kindle. Had read some of the negative comments but had no hassle installing the printer and connecting the WiFi. When original ink ran out replaced with compatible. First time the printer refused to recognise the cartridge. Then realised that for some compatible cartridges it is necessary to first remove both the yellow tape AND the small solid plastic wedge. Then the printer recognised the cartridge and worked perfectly. Quality of print and photos very acceptable. Only small drawback is the printer is a little slow, otherwise very good value for the price. 25 August 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very impressive all-round printer/scanner/copier I've always liked Epson printers and this is no exception, and a huge improvement over my previous SX200. It's quick, quiet, good print & scan quality, with an economic ink system (as I'd expect), but what is exceptional is its connectivity. Using only a WiFi connection it handles not only Epson's proprietary system, but also Google cloud print, completely freeing it from direct dependency on a computer. Add to that the ability to email a print to it, as well as to scan to email, or to Evernote (among others) from the control panel and there's not much you can't do. Plus as a bonus it fully supports Linux, both Cups printing and Sane scanning over WiFi - I wasn't even expecting that. Top marks! 31 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by can't believe how good this is for the price I bought this printer because my old photo printer was becoming troublesome. I initially connected it to my (Vista) desktop PC by usb, which was not as straightforward as I expected, but connecting it to my (Windows 8) laptop using wi-fi was really quick and easy. I rarely print photos these days, so I didn't buy it for that, but when I printed a couple of 4x6 photos I was amazed at the quality of the colours, especially since this printer uses only 3 colour inks and black. I am also impressed with the speed of the printer for printing documents. Scanning is a slightly slower process, but both the copy and scan functions are effective and very easy to use. All in all a great quality machine at a very low price. 11 August 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Good printer with reservations! The printer was ok to set up but for some reason, keeps losing its wi-fi connection to the computer. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times up to now. The CD won't load the scanner, so that function doesn't work. I always get a message that the network drives are not all connected. If it loses wi-fi again, I will connect via the wired connection, but don't feel I should have to and I may decide to return it to the supplier. As a printer, it works fine, but I never know when there will be more hiccups so I am losing faith in it. 03 February 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Trouble with connecting to my wireless internet A great compact all singing and dancing machine, The problem started trying to connect to my wireless Internet I've lost count the number of times I've had to reload everything Internet connection wireless just dropped out at times I've even been onto BT with change the wireless channels but to no avail I still get the problem then again part from that I love the machine it's easy to use gives great printing quality scanning everything delighted with it I just wish we could sort at the problem with the wireless connection. 08 March 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very good all-round printer I bought this printer to replace an earlier model , at a time when I switched to wireless printing with a new laptop and Windows 8. It is a very good printer. Easy to set up with the CD. The various programs , printing, copying etc. are accessed on the printer itself and there are no difficulties in understanding the processes. Because it is compact, it fits well on a small table top. The quality of colour printing is good and b/w printing is very fast. Yes, a good little printer to satisfy all my home needs. 29 April 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Product amazing Had an old Epson which was great for 10-15 years and after all that time became noisy, rattily and slowed down only to be expected of course. Being a creature of habit I wanted to stay with Epson and did a lot of reading on what I needed from a new printer etc and I can safely say I am very satisfied as the quality is excellent for photos, finish, performance and on top of that I get copier facilities which is a bonus when sending documents off to anyone and I can now keep copies. I was so impressed within my first 3 days of using it I bought another one for my daughter in law who was needing a new printer and she too is delighted with it, I certainly would and do recommend this model to anyone who tells me they need a printer to suit their needs as it does. Thank you Epson once again, top notch! 20 July 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Communications are terrible Hi guys, Need to tell you I have always been an Epson fan unitl now. I needed a cheap printer while waiting for my household effects to arrive from the UK. This is the worst printer I have ever had, it is more trouble than it is worth. It only prints half a page, unless it is on draft, so forget multi page documents. The scanner has yet to be detected, even with multiple software installs. Every other paper page jams. I would highly suggest you avoid buying this at all costs. Roger 13 March 2014
