Rated 4 out of 5 by shortstuff456 Fifty Shades concludes!
Came across the series through word of mouth and initially was just going to buy the first book for a friend! However Asda enticed me with their offer so ended up reading the first and became quickly hooked. Although I will admit the books feel like a Twilight for Adults there's still enough to keep me interested. Freed takes off from the second; Fifty Shades Darker and further explores Anastassia's and Christian's relationship though this time as a newly married couple. A lot more action (but not so much of the sexual kind) takes place in this book therefore when the movies finally come out this one will probably be the closest to the books.

For those who haven't yet read any of E L James' Fifty Shades trilogy, I'd highly recommend it. It's exciting, interesting and slightly educational. You find yourself becoming attached to the famous Mr. Grey and you want to know more and more about him as you read on.
The sexual content isn't as unusual as you'd think and it can be very interesting in parts. It's a great book for couples to share, for obvious reasons, but it's not all whips and chains. The relationship between the main characters can cause the reader to feel a range of different emotions.
If you haven't read any of the books, I'd recommend starting with Fifty Shades of Grey, then Fifty Shades Darker.

This is by far the most exhilarating trilogy I have ever come across. I started this book as I boarded my flight, and from then until the first night in the hotel I could not stop reading about the rollercoaster events in the lives of the Greys...
Although at first when I asked about the book 50 Shades, I'd get a shocked, blushing response along the lines of "it's very raunchy..." it's actually so much more than the sexual relationship, it's about the transformation of two people, how one person can bring so much out of a person, how we can teach one another and how we can help one another when there is trust.
This book was beyond what I expected it to be, and I would highly recommend it to both genders at all ages (well, 18+)...

After reading the first book which I couldn't put down I just couldn't wait for the second in the trilogy. Once again just couldn't stop reading it, my hubby asked what I was reading "a love book" I replied. Have oirdered the third and final book in the trilogy. Have not been disappointed so far. I am 65 and still enjoy a good read. I have recommended these books to quite a few 'old friends' and I mean old friends

I heard a lot about the fifty shades trilogy and how everyone was so into them and I wondered what all the fuss was about so I bought them to see for myself and once I started reading them I found that I couldn't put them down. I have to say that the fifty shades books are the best books I have ever read.
