Rated 5 out of 5 by Michael I love my Dyson!
I am a gadget lover and a vacuuming hater! I was thinking, what could I possibly do to make vacuuming more appealing (huh?) and less of a hassle! Well, I always loved the look of a Dyson and was thrilled when a popular TV shopping channel gave me the opportunity to afford one! When it comes to amazing gadgety looks and awesome suction power.. all my dreams come have true with the Dyson DC24! I can't believe I am going to say this but.. I actually look forward to doing the vacuuming now :) what with my futuristic looking ultimate dirt killing machine! To sum up, my carpets are in shock and I am over the moon! I will never ever buy any other brand!

Rated 5 out of 5 Well Satisfied
This is the second DC 24 All Floors machine I have purchased. One for each floor of my home. I bought my first DC24 All Floor machine two years ago. They replaced earlier Dyson models that I have enjoyed using for a number of years. My reason for choosing the DC 24 is primarily for their cleaning power, lightness and ease of use. The latter features were important as I am somewhat older than when I purchased my first Dyson cleaners. That they take up so little storage space was another consideration. Such is the novelty of using the Dyson Ball feature my husband is no longer averse to giving me a helping hand. A miracle. After sales service superb.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SarahE DC24 Multi Floor
This vacuum cleaner is very light and easy to carry up and down stairs. It is pretty easy to use - you always know if you've got it right because everything clicks into place with a definite noise. It cleans well and is easy to adjust from floor cleaning to using the wand.
On the negative side, the flex is quite short, so you have to unplug it when moving from room to room, or even from one side of a big room to the other. It was a bit fiddly to take out the washable filters, but it was extremely difficult to take out the brush bar. As my hair was wrapped all round the roller it needed to be cleaned and even my 12-year old son found it challenging.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Pietro Overall Quality and Performance
After a period of approximately 20 months the Vacuum Cleaner has performed to our satisfaction. We are pleased with the overall working of the appliance and its
flexibility to access small or restricted floor areas. The dust container does require to be emptied more frequently but the operation is easy and cleanly undertaken.
The footpedal release for the handle tends to be a bit sticky possibly due to
plastic fittings but this should rectify with use. The only other point to mention is related to the power switch on the appliance. It is not a positive connection when depressed and often has to be repeated before the appliance starts.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Eric I replaced a Dyson cylinder with the DC24 Upright model. I expected the upright wouldn't be as flexible as the cylinder model and so it proved. However, the cleaning performance on carpets is excellent and with the brush turned off, it is also good on wooden floors. My disappointment (as such) is in emptying the dust container without getting dirty hands having to pull the dust ball out. It also, despite the advertising claims, clogs up the holes in the top half of the container requiring the dismantling of the dust collector to clean it which again is a dirty job. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase - it is light and manoeuverable and easy to use.

Rated 4 out of 5 A Llot of pros, but a couple of cons...
We bought the DC24 a few months ago and haven't looked back. While this is a 'mini' version of the standard upright Dyson, it doesn't lack in power!
Great suction power, great manoeuvrability and you can see exactly when you need to flip the switch to empty it out. Believe the hype on Dyson - it won't let you down. However (!!!), there are a couple of teeny-tiny issues which, in my opinion, could be improved upon. Namely: the power cable could be a few feet longer, the hose could also be slightly longer when you use the attachments. But these are very minor issues. Overall, this is a great product - perfect for a small house or flat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by J04nne DC24 - not a Dyson for Men
Had this a while. I'm faily pleased with it though I do wish I'd gone for the full size version. It is a bBit of a pain having to wash the filter monthly... I admit I dont. Not as good as my old DC01 which I was fond of. The button to switch off the brushes when I do hard floors appears to be a bit tempremental.
The bad part is my huband cant work out the mechanics of the thing. Red bits are buttons to press - they 'do' something, serve a purpose. He says it is over engineered. Not sure if that's a failing on the DC24 part or his.
The size is good if you really cant lift/use a full size vac but I'd think twice if you considering for any other reason.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Clare2206 Great vacuum
This is a fantastic vacuum cleaner that I'm sure I will have for a very long time. Now I've tried using a Dyson I wouldn't have anything else! Even though this is not the Dyson Animal model, it does an excellent job of sucking up my cat and dog's hairs. Excellent product that I would highly recommend. Some may think it is on the expensive side but I believe you get what you pay for and I have faith that I will have this vacuum for a very long time so will get my money's worth. The only negative comment I have is that the power cord is a little short but depending on the area you need to cover, this may not be an issue for everyone.
