When the drill is in rotary mode this feature is ideal for drilling into wood plastic or mild steel. This feature enables the user total control over the speed of the drill, increasing and decreasing the speed using the trigger. The integral dial on the switch can be set to a specific maximum speed that is ideal for the work piece. There is a forward/reverse facility, making the drill ideal for fastening and undoing screws.
The side handle is for extra leverage when drilling and can be rotated 360 degrees around the drill which means it can be set to the most comfortable position. The adjustable depth rod guide is for drilling to a predetermined depth. The side handle also has a convenient compartment which can store your drill bits, keeping them close at hand (drill bits sold separately). The drill comes complete with a 13mm large capacity chuck, which means this drill can hold larger drilling bits.
The chuck key is stored close to hand below the handle of the power cable. The drill comes complete with approximately 3 metres of cable which gives you plenty of flexibility while working.
