Elegant on the palate, this lively wine displays good balance between acidity and structure. A discreet bouquet, fine and pleasant with aromas of acacia and hawthorn flowers. The wine is a lovely pale crystalline green.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Avrilp from Something different! I've been in the wine trade for many years and now find that one of my hidden gems is becoming to be popular in some supermarkets. Picpoul Blanc is the grape variety of this refreshing, citrusy, crisp white wine. It comes from the sun drenched Languedoc region in southern France where they are passionate about their wines. Want to try something 'new', something so refreshing, something to talk about? You will enjoy Calvet Picpoul, .. (but don't tell too many people as it might run out)!
