Rated 5 out of 5 good, cheap bike tool
I bought this to deal with any eventualities on my C2C challenge across England. In the event it was rarely needed though I have used it for little jobs around the house. Only thing I added to it were a pair of PVC gloves (to keep hands clean while out on long bike ride) and a chain tool - both of which were able to fit in the pouch for an excellent emergency tool kit. It was also far cheaper than other kits out there

This is ideal for a slightly older bike, where as a different tool might suit high priced bikes of the last few years. It is highly useful on newer bikes too, but could have better & more hex tools. BUT.... A wider range of ringspanners than most other 'all in one' biketools, and strong enough for high torques. The patch & glue kit is fitted nicely in a great pouch, with enough tyre levers for the toughest of fittings... and many other useful features. The thing it lacks most is a chainbreaker, and If you've tried a few of these that are part of an all in one tool, you'll know that most are inadequate and fiddly anyway.
The pouch for this kit has room to fit a dedicated chain tool anyway, and this is the way forward with this multi-tool. I have tried a few over time but carry this one, and a Topeak multi-tool which has a 1/2 decent chain tool... For my older bikes inevitably it's the Bell tools that get used, and for my custom-build 2011 mountain bike, I use both tools.. I'm just about to buy another one for my boy, now he's interested in maintaining his bike. You'll see I rated it 5 stars for value & durability, but I give it 5 stars for usefulness too, despite not liking the screwdrivers much. It's very cheap, at 1/2 the price of many, but it's not lacking anything except expensive touches for appearance. A stand alone chain tool is easier to use, & carry along with this one, and you've got all bases covered for older bikes.
