Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 159 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by very handy steamer I bought this steamer to replace a very heavy one with lots of attachments I rarely used and which took ages to heat up. This one is so light and handy to carry up and down stairs, it heats up in 30 secs and the floors are practically dry when done. I also use it on my carpets and as I have animals it is so handy to use just for that little wee that so often appears!! The only draw-back is that it is SO light weight I am very careful not to use much force in case I damage it. It is a shame that the makers don't make it a bit more substantial for a bit more money. 19 February 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by such a useful household cleaner I already have a kettle type steamer but it is big and bulky and difficult to carry upstairs. I bought the Abode steam mop because it was light and had a long handle so no problems carrying it around the house and no bending to use it. I can whizz upstairs and steam the bathroom floor and the triangular head turns to allow you to get into all the difficult places. I steam cleaned all my downstairs tiled floors and they have come up really well and did not seem wet after I had finished. I cleaned all my rugs too and I am really pleased with this product 20 March 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Steamy solutions I have 3 cats, 3 children and several builders running through my house at the moment and wanted a reasonably priced solution to the grubby floor! This steam mop is compact, lightweight and easy to use. It has a swivel, angled head which makes it easy to manoeuvre into corners and close to edges. It has an easy to fill (and empty) transparent water tank, which allows you to see the water level. It is wonderful not to have to fill buckets of water and slop old fashioned mops about. 21 January 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing! Been after a steam mop for ages and this is absolutely the best one EVER. It gets into all small spaces, heats up really quickly, the pads wash up nicely and can be tumble dried (spares can also be purchased), my floor has never been cleaner and it is dry in a couple of minutes after use. I would def recommend this to anyone...brilliant value for money. 14 December 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by cheapest is not always the best solution I bought the Abode ASM201 steam mop to do my kitchen floor (tiled) and to use for freshening up the carpets in the bungalow the price was great but the product did NOT come up to expectations as the amount of steam it puts out is very very poor by the time i had done the kitchen it would have been easier and quicker to have used a good old fashioned mop. I was really NOT impressed at all with the perfermance and went to my local town and bought a more expensive one more powerfull and its fantastic the Abode ASM2001 was a waste of money. 06 December 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by OK for the money This works fine - steam comes out and cleans the floor as described. Need to keep it vertical at all times of water escapes from the emergency valve. The cord isn't very long at all so you can't clean a room without having to use either an extension or keep on unplugging it and plugging in somewhere else - a seemingly minor irritation that annoys after a while. Still good value though when compared with others on market 10 December 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Product The delivery was fast and efficient. I unpacked the item and though I had made a mistake as it seemed very light, but once put together it is good and strong, but light enough to move easily. The triangular head does help you move it into all the tight spaces. It cleans my lino kitchen floor brilliantly, I have also used it on a mattress and carpet, both worked very well with the 'glider' attachment. 29 December 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great steamer for the price Fantastic steamer for the price, I was very shocked after just steam cleaning the kitchen how much black was on the bottom and I mop everyday with bleach!!! The floor wasn't wet for long so I didn't have to wait to walk on the floor.very glad I brought it, now looking for a hand steamer lol My advice is just stop thinking about it just buy one. 06 December 2012
