I can't make sandwiches work in this thing - but it's an absolute dream for grilling steaks, pork & lamb chops, chicken & duck breasts, liver & bratwurst.
It's so good I pack it when I'm away from home-real food in my hotel room-great!

Rated 1 out of 5 by beefycub Works fine but is flimsy and breaks easily. Avoid
I won one of these in a prize raffle, and I eagerly went home to use it. On its first ever outing, the handle nearly broke off as it was so flimsy. It has since now broken completely off and is unusable. The non-stick pans and toasting function are superb, but the problem is the handle. If this were more robust and not made out of very flimsy plastic, I would rate this full marks. As it is, spend a few more quid and get a more robust toaster. One small issue I also found was finding bread that fitted - the slices were either far too small or hanging out of the sides. Also, it was difficult to clean as if you put messy foods like cheese, beans, etc., into the toaster and it overspills, it gets caught up in the spring bit at the back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by whatsnottaken very poor quality
For such a cheap product you don't expect it to be the best quality, however you also don't expect the handle to snap all the way across the third time you use it from the pressure of squeezing a toastie made with thin sliced bread and a slice of ham together.
