The only problem with these pots is that they lack drainage holes at the bottom. As it turns out this wasn't such a big problem for me since I wanted to plant a wetland plant in it (Purple Loosestrife), a beautiful native plant for bees and butterflies. I can't fault the pots really, they require approx. 70 litres of compost to fill them.

THIS BLACK PLANTER IS LARGER THAN I THOUGHT, WHICH IS A BONUS. BECAUSE THE PRICE WAS SO GOOD, I BOUGHT 9 OF EM & THEN HAD TO BUY LOTS OF COMPOST TO FILL EM. BUT THEY LOOK GOOD. THEY ARE NOW FILLED & READY FOR SUMMER, I JUST HOPE THAT THEY ARE JUST AS ROBUST IN THE FUTURE & DONT FALL APART LIKE THE ONES I BOUGHT AT B&Q

Rated 5 out of 5 by hallgarth excelent garden product
this planter is ideal for taller garden plants and because of its larger diameter smaller plants can be added around the base to make a spectactular display. the price was much less than a similar product at the garden centre.

Rated 5 out of 5 by percythrower great value - nice size pots
Bought 3 for £10 online & collected instore all wrapped together and taped up with "fragile" tape all over them. Got home & 1 was broken around the rim. Rang freephone CS (who are in S.Africa unbelieivably)!! and they refunded me for 1.
I liked the quality and the size so ordered 3 more. This time they were boxed with loads of polywrap stuff & the store opened & checked them with me. So now I have 5 & the 1 damaged one all potted up & looking very nice.

Good quality, easy to drill drainage holes at the bottom (3 places to do). Nice large pots for the garden. I was happy with the price to (3 for £10). I may be ordering more, or collecting in store when next there.

Very good sturdy pot and looks great on the patio, not top heavy, tapered ones soon get blown over with high winds, but these pots are a good shape and look smart and at the right price.

These 3 planters for £10 are a bargain, made by Ward, well known manufacturer. The black colour is rare and looks good with yellow shrubs. I'm potty about them...
