    Answer:
Yes. I was lucky enough to already have one from a previous airer, but yes you would need to buy a stake.

    Answer:
No you don't need to buy a stake. The airer comes with a plastic ground socket which is a cylindrical tube with a flip top lid/cover. You need to dig a hole in the ground (instructions tell you approximate size), fill with concrete then leave to dry for a couple of days. When your airer is taken away, you could put the lid/top on the ground socket to stop collecting rain/debris into the cylinder. The product description does say comes with ground socket or at least the packaging does when it arrives.

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 83 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Probably the best value for money on the market! What a surprise! I bought this airer after several unsuccessful attempts to buy more expensive products, either out of stock or discontinued. This airer is sturdy, well balanced, a far better quality than the more expensive one we have discarded. It came with all necessary fittings and was easy to set up. It looks far more expensive than it costs. Fit for purpose, strong and value for money, you can't go wrong withis product. 27 September 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Value for Money I shopped around a fair bit and did my research before buying this. As it was half the price (or less!) than similar items I was weary to buy but the reviews on here were so positive I had to at least give it a go. I do not regret my decision in the slightest! This washing line seems very sturdy and good quality, completely the opposite of what I expected considering the cost! It works perfectly and was a complete bargain. I would much rather spend my money on other things than over priced washing lines! Thank you asda!! :-) 23 May 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great rotary airier After much research on rotary airers I bought this one mainly because 100% positive customer reviews - the great price was a bonus. I can add my name alongside other customers - very sturdy, well made rotary airier we are very pleased. I have tried so many airers over the years from super expensive to bottom range and believe me when I say some are unbelievably fragile or too stiff/difficult to put up for use. This one ticks all boxes and I highly recommend anyone to buy it. I bought this one for my elderly parents and they are delighted. I have recommended to all my friends. I really have nothing negative to report. 03 October 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic buy! Read the reviews and thought for the price worth a try, and its fantastic! Pretty big, looks smart. Make sure when put it in ground you put something to hold the weight, I hit a few little bits of wood into the ground to give it some more support, other when it rains it could lean. 29 August 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent value for money airer. This product is excellent value for money regarding the prices that other companies are charging for more or less the same thing. As for the price I wondered if the product may lack in quality but is excellent, sturdy and would recommend to anyone. The product looks great and am really happy. 28 August 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 SUPERB VALUE AND GREAT SERVICE Although we haven't had this long, it seems very good value for money and well sturdy! ASDA service was very good with delivery to our Harrogate store in 3-4 days, earlier than promised. I recommend this item. Don't be put off by the price! 29 July 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Rotary heaven Really pleased with this product, fast delivery too. Looks good works well and very quick and easy to assemble. Lots of space for loads of washing. 27 August 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent value for money We had been looking around at many different rotary lines, from the cheaper ones to expensive. I really wanted a 4 arm one and when I saw this one for the price I was a bit worried at how good it would be. After reading the other reviews I decided to give it try and I'm so pleased with it. It arrived quickly and luckily it slotted straight into the hole we had concreted in for a previous line, so installation took a minute, It doesn't hold a huge amount probably 2 small loads at the most and our king size sheets wont fit but you can't expect everything for the price. It certainly does the job and it surprisingly strong. Would definitely recommend. Thanks asda :) 22 April 2014
